Claim submission for MHIP plans is the same for other CareFirst plans. Address and phone number information is available at the CareFirst web site.
Resubmissions should be sent to the same address - marked as resubmissions on the envelope.
2. Who do providers call with questions about a claim payment or claim status?
Claim questions for MHIP plans are handled in the same way as for other CareFirst plans. Address and phone number information is available at the CareFirst web site.
3. How do providers verify enrollment and benefits of a patient?
Providers can check eligibility and benefits of MHIP members on CareFirst Direct.
